We see them everyday - our neighbors, friends, co-workers, and our family members. Some of us see them when we look in the mirror. The numbers are staggering, over 400 million people worldwide have diabetes. We want to put a face to this disease that does not discriminate according to age, race,or gender.

We want to introduce you to the people who say "I have diabetes, but diabetes does not have me." From the young ones who are heading up their own diabetes walks to the older ones who are pioneers in helping to spread the word of prevention there are people who are making changes.

We invite you to share your story! We invite you to send up your picture and your story. It doesn't have to be long or fancy, we just want to know what is in your heart. We want to know you better and allow the world to see the faces of diabetes. We are in this fight against diabetes...together.
